President`s Report
Though GoldStar has helped bring new audiences The Studio gets only $7 per ticket (GoldStar takes $12+), so we are currently releasing only 10 seats up on GoldStar. This arrangement will be watched carefully and, if it makes sense to release more through GoldStar adjustments will be made.

Because of issues with the current credit card machine, it was recommended that it be upgraded, to include a chip reader. Amy agreed to work with BluePay to see what can be done and report on costs, etc.

Costume Committee Report:

The Studio has a huge inventory of costumes for many different types of productions. It was recommended that 3 new closets be purchased (at $25 each) as some of the current ones are falling apart.

Mention was made of the Amazon SMILE tie in and it was agreed that mention of it should be included on all announcements.

A couple of board members have heard from people who say they are not listed. The names will be shared with Harry and any necessary changes will be made.

Financial Committee Report
Common area expenses went up $100 per month (now the monthly charges are over $3,000)

It was agreed that a committee needs to be formed, chaired by Steve, to examine the lease and options to push for better terms from the landlord when the lease is due for renewal in August. The committee will journal all the repairs, etc, requested of landlord and the time it took to their resolution (or not).

The last time the rent was renewed, they reduced the monthly rent by $1,500, but the increases in the common charges have erased those savings for The Studio.

Because of some issues December 30, 2018 Balance Sheet (unaudited for management purposes only)
