President`s Report
Continuing to communicate with landlord about rent reduction/elimination in regards to the $35K + The Studio currently owes. No word yet, but it seems possible that they will be willing to work something out.

Carol made arrangements with Phoenix Fire Department to do the annual inspection of The Studio on June 12.

Carol announced that the plan for the 2020-2021 Season is to do 7 shows. The final three from the cancelled season this March:
- Pound
- By The Water
- Summer Shorts

And then:
- The Children
- Delicate Balance
- The Mysterious Disappearance
- Dolls House Two

Financial Committee Report
Got 2 recent $100 donations. There is $1,200 in the bank and the APS bill has been paid (very low amount since The Studio has not been using the space).

Still looking for fund raising ideas.

Member Committee Report
Herberger lunchtime theater is scheduled to reopen in September 2020.

Patti will look into an outdoor theater space in her neighborhood that The Studio might be able to use to help with social distancing concerns (or should The Studio lose its current space).

Business Committee Report
Moving ahead with plans to do radio plays as audio-only podcasts. Awaiting final set up with Apple (the top site for podcasts) and soliciting actors to participate in the tapings. The microphones are set up around the stage to provide plenty of social distancing for the actors and cleaning procedures have been established.

Marketing Committee Report
Michael Fleck is working on some new videos using interviews already done.

Other Business
Since COVID-19 will be part of our reality for the next few years, The Studio needs to come up with a workable plan to do some sort of reopening.

Kirt shared the Governor's Office Opening Guidelines for Theaters. It is not too onerous, but The Studio needs to be mindful of the fact that most of its patrons are in the high-risk category for it (and their outcomes are usually worse), so its precautions should err on the side of safety rather than ease.

Later Kirt shared with the Board reopening guides from
- Event Safety Alliance
- PACC

It was agreed that the first step would be to poll sustaining and artistic members to learn what they feel about The Studio reopening; time frame, what safety precautions need to be in place, etc.

Mary shared the email The Herberger sent to their patrons:

    Greetings,

We're checking in to see how you are faring during these very strange and challenging times. We certainly hope you are staying safe and healthy. We miss all of our loyal LTT guests, we miss sharing our "Art", and we look forward to your smiling faces and the important presence you bring to our theater.

We do not have an "open" date yet, but when we open, we want it to be at a time and in a way that is comfortable for everyone. Therefore, we humbly solicit your thoughts, concerns and any decisions you might have made about the "return" to business as usual. We would love to know what you might need from us in order to attend Lunch Time Theater again.

Anything (thoughts, suggestions, ideas, dates) that you might have in mind would be most helpful as we plan for our next steps.

Please reply via this email. We will share all the responses with our team to make the best choices for all. Thank you so much for sharing.

Once again, we look forward to continuing the wonderful partnership we share with you in bringing Lunch Time Theater to life!

    Yours in Theatre,

Judy Rollings, Art Education & Outreach Director
Mary Robinson, Art Education & Outreach Associate
    Herberger Theater Center

Mary later shared the line to the survey that Arizona Broadway Theater sent it its patrons.

The Board will work together via email to come up with a plan and schedule to reopen, once the feedback from members can be evaluated.
